I toured the files of and remembered
the Get-Along Gang... despite the steamrolling
scenarios he made.

I'll flatten 'em and you pump them up again, deal? Unless you want a go at driving the steamroller. (Oh go on, you know you want to. Pick any two characters, a boy and a girl and let's see if you can peel...erm, pull it off. )

Ultimately, these characters are made of the same stuff as Popeye, Daffy Duck and Roger Rabbit and, (in theory), enjoy the same immunity to being squashed, stretched and generally knocked about.
